Talent Manager / Agency Commission

The cut a manager or talent agency takes from a creator's brand-deal income for representing them and negotiating on their behalf — commonly 15–20% for a personal manager, 10–20% for an agency, and the two can stack if a creator has both.

Reported ranges run broadly from 5–30% depending on the creator's level and the specifics of the representation agreement, with 15–20% common for a manager taking a cut of most or all revenue streams, and 10–20% typical for an agency negotiating brand deals specifically. If a creator has both a manager and an agency, fees can stack — a combined 30% off the top before the creator sees payment is not unusual.

For brands: a represented creator's quoted rate usually already has this built in, so it is not evidence of price-gouging — it is the cost of a smoother negotiation and, often, a more reliable delivery. For creators: get the percentage and the revenue scope (brand deals only, or everything including affiliate and platform payouts) in writing before signing with anyone.
