TikTok Shop Affiliate
TikTok’s built-in storefront and affiliate program: creators tag products in videos and LIVEs and earn a seller-set commission automatically, on top of or instead of a content fee.
Sellers set their own commission per product, from about 1% to 80%. In practice, self-serve “Open Collaboration” listings mostly cluster at 10–15% and pull broad creator volume at modest conversion, while invite-only “Targeted Collaboration” offers, negotiated higher (roughly 18–50%), convert better because the brand hand-picked the creator fit. Category matters: beauty, supplements, and fashion sit at the high end of the range; electronics sit at the low end. Commission rates move — a round of cuts in mid-2026 reset several creators’ economics from roughly 20% down to 10–15%, so treat any specific number as a starting point to verify, not a fixed fact.
Increasingly the deal is hybrid: a guaranteed flat fee per video plus a smaller commission (often 15–20%) for creators who reliably convert, which protects the creator from a slow week and still rewards performance. Treat a TikTok Shop tag as a separate deliverable from a normal Spark Ads boost — the affiliate link and the paid-media rights are two different things to negotiate.
